Caffe Sport in San Francisco

Caffe Sport is by far the best Italian food around in San Francisco. A couple of years ago, me and my buddies would frequent this restaurant almost every Friday. The dishes are heavy on the garlic, and are served family style. All of the dishes are incredible, but some of my favorite dishes are the Rustica all’ Antonio (4 cheeses with shrimps and scallops), Clams (lemon and butter), Crab Salad, and the Eggplant with Pasta. The salad is also an awesome choice, and you simply can’t go wrong with their tiramisu to cap the meal.
If you come on a Friday or Saturday, be prepared to wait in line for a good while unless you have a reservation. Tell them that “Paul” or “Jeff” sent you and you’ll be sure to get exceptional service. Maybe even a comped bottle of wine or two.

ahhh.. the notorious Cafe Sport. I was in fear of opening my mouth the whole night, in fear of a cataclysmic event from the garlic
it’s ok….I think we all shared that fear. Definitely delish food though!
